At Expel, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

BOLD, our ERG for Black Expletives and allies, champions inclusivity and professional development for Black team members. WE empowers women by providing a supportive community where they can pursue their passions with confidence. The Treehouse, our LGBTQ+ ERG, creates a safe haven for members and allies, promoting education, awareness, and authenticity. Additionally, the Connection ERG focuses on mental well-being, educating and destigmatizing mental health issues to ensure everyone feels supported on their journey.

At Expel, we believe "Hiring is the most important thing we do." That's why we've honed our process to ensure we bring in the best candidates who align with our values, mission, and vision.

Once you hit that apply button, rest assured that one of us on the recruiting team (yes, a real person, not a robot) will be taking a look at your resume. We receive thousands of applications each week and take the time to review every single one. Sometimes things get a bit hectic, so there might be a wait, but we’re on it. Thanks for your patience!

Show your expertise

Once we’ve given your resume a good look, we’ll send you an email to let you know if we’ll be moving forward or not. If so, we’ll start with a 15-30 minute conversation with a recruiter to learn about you and make sure your experience meets the minimum requirements for the role and matches the expectations of the hiring manager. Your recruiter will be your main POC throughout your recruitment journey to potentially joining Expel!

Meet the team

Now it’s time to meet the team! First up is a more in-depth chat with the hiring manager, usually lasting 45 minutes to an hour. If all goes well, we move on to the final rounds – roughly 3 or 4 conversations with your potential team (give or take, depending on the position). For certain roles, like engineering, there might be a technical evaluation between the hiring manager chat and the final rounds.

Get the offer

Once you reach this stage, it’s decision time! We’ll evaluate whether to extend an offer, which might take about a week as we navigate through other candidates and finalize our process. Feel free to touch base with your recruiter if you’re experiencing pre-offer jitters.

If you receive an offer, congratulations! The next step is to make your decision and hopefully give your recruiter a nod and sign on the dotted line. After that, keep an eye out for an email detailing the onboarding process. Celebrate—you’re officially on board! Now, it’s time to dive into the exciting journey ahead!
