Dropping knowledge and peace of mind: Expel at Infosecurity Europe 2024

RSA Conference kicked off a packed cybersecurity event schedule, and next on our calendar is Europe’s premier gathering, Infosecurity Europe, taking place 4-6 June at ExCel London. We’ll have our stand again, and we’ll also take the stage to talk about some of the most important issues in information security. We love this event because there’s no better place to meet with security leaders and operators from across Europe to discuss regional and global security challenges and opportunities—and spread the word about how we deliver real outcomes that improve security resilience for customers.

We’re especially excited this year because our CEO and co-founder Dave “merk” Merkel’s name appears on the conference programme not once, but twice. On Tuesday, 4 June, 16:30-17:00, he and Laura Budge, director of security operations at UserTesting, will talk about effective ways to identify the outside providers who will become true and trusted extensions of your team. The session is titled Lightening the Load: Building Strategic Partnerships for Effective Security Programs. (Click that link to add it to your diary.)

Then on Thursday, 6 June, 13:00-13:25, merk explores one of the modern CISO’s most important challenges in his session, The Business of Security: Communicating Risk to the C-Suite. Demonstrating the ROI of security programmes and showing the impact of security initiatives has never been more important for CISOs. merk will discuss how to cut through the jargon and deliver the metrics other C-suite leaders (and board members) need to understand security resilience.

Between those sessions, make sure to stop by stand B110 to get a close-up look at how Expel Managed Detection and Response (MDR) delivers peace of mind across cloud, Kubernetes, SaaS apps, and on-prem environments. We’ll show you how our customers get industry-leading outcomes—and peace of mind.

Check out our stats. The numbers don’t lie:

  • A mean-time-to-detect of 1.7 minutes.
  • A mean-time-to-touch of 2.6 minutes.
  • A mean-time-to-respond of 23 minutes.
  • A mean-time-to-remediate of 21.9 minutes.
  • Most importantly: 0 undetected breaches.

The metrics are impressive alone. But it’s what the metrics enable that we’re really proud of: helping our customers actually enjoy their holidays and annual leave without the typical stress and worry that they’ll get called in to handle some security emergency. (In fact, we’re leaning into this at our booth, where we’ll be giving out fresh smoothies and summer swag – another reason to crop by!)

So if you want to learn more about how we enable these outcomes, schedule some time to visit the booth or even a demo. We’d love to meet you.
