Expel hits the cybersecurity event circuit at Gartner Security & Risk and AWS re:Inforce

June is upon us, and our dance card is full of the premier cybersecurity events in the industry. We love a busy event season because it gives us the chance to talk shop with our peers, exchange tales from the security operations center (SOC), discuss the pressing security challenges du jour, and show off our industry-leading services.

Here’s where we’re headed, and why you should stop by and say hi 👋

First up: Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, June 2-5, National Harbor, MD

We’re particularly excited for this one because the critical connection point between cybersecurity and overall business risk is often misunderstood. Leaders and board members across industries tend to understand cyber-specific risks, but linking security initiatives to business impact—and quantifying ROI—can be tricky. Now more than ever, security leaders must be able to communicate that connection to the C-suite, particularly the CFO, or risk losing budget.

Greg Notch, chief information security officer (CISO) at Expel, takes the stage on Wednesday, June 5, 2-2:30 pm ET, to share insights on communicating risk to the C-suite, including practical tips and strategies to mitigate organizational risk—and safeguard your budget in the process.

When you’re not attending Greg’s session, book some time to meet with Expel at the show, or swing by booth #349 to see for yourself how we achieve unmatched outcomes for our customers, including a 23-minute MTTR. (Full details here.)

Next up: AWS re:Inforce, June 10-12, Philadelphia, PA

Last year, the Expel SOC saw a 72% increase in cloud infrastructure incidents (according to the Expel Annual Threat Report 2024). And navigating increasingly complex threats, particularly across multi-cloud environments, requires time, resources, and specific expertise that a lot of already overloaded security teams lack.

Good thing cloud security is our specialty.

Whether you need to augment your existing programs or develop something new, we’ve got your back. Our comprehensive coverage spans cloud, on-prem, identity, network environments, and more, and our deep-rooted cloud knowledge means we can help you navigate those complexities with ease in a variety of platforms—including AWS.

Schedule time to connect with us or stop by booth #1342 for a full breakdown on why we’re the trusted MDR service for cloud. And in case you need another reason to check us out, join us for a group demo on Tuesday, June 11, at 1pm or 4:30pm ET, or Wednesday, June 12 at 1pm ET for the chance to win a $300 Amazon gift card. (More deets on our event page.)

You can also watch the Expel team in action at the Wiz booth (#1233) on Tuesday, June 11 at 2pm ET during our 15-minute lightning talk. Come say hi!

So what?

Like we said before, we love these events for a lot of reasons, but mostly because they give us the chance to show you the outcomes we deliver to customers that make a real impact in their lives, every day.

Here’s how we do it:

  • AI-powered automation leads to rapid response times, diminishing risks and fortifying your security posture.
  • Complete transparency keeps you in the loop on all actions and decisions, granting you peace of mind by ensuring you’re never in the dark.
  • The right combination of our SecOps platform–Expel Workbench™–with our people, expertise, and technology, gives you and your team the time back to focus on the things that matter most to your business.

This all means that with Expel, you and your team can get back to the parts of the job you love—including the PTO. Enjoy your next vacation without the emergency work calls or fire drills knowing Expel has you covered.

Interested in a world where PTO actually means PTO? Reach out any time, or stop by and see us at any of these upcoming events.
