Herndon, VA, August 4, 2022 – Fresh off its successful RSA Conference debut, Expel is again making its first-time appearance at a landmark industry event — Black Hat USA 2022. Expel, the managed security provider that aims to make security easy to understand, use and improve, is exhibiting in the Black Hat business hall, and will be located in booth #2861, August 10-11.

“Many Expletives have participated at Black Hat as attendees or speakers, but this is the first time we’ll have a booth on the exhibition floor. Black Hat USA is one of the best events to rub elbows with a highly technical crowd, and learn about the challenges they’re facing everyday,” said Kelly Fiedler, Chief Marketing Officer of Expel. “Needless to say, we’re excited to connect with the people on the front lines of security, discuss the trends impacting their organizations, and show them how we’re helping businesses make sense of security.”

Expel’s Matt Peters, Chief Product Officer, and Jonathan Hencinski, Vice President of Security Operations, are presenting a sponsored session titled, Effective Security Conversations: How to Communicate with Data. This talk will share lessons learned and best practices for enabling effective security dialog between executive boards, human resources groups, and security teams. The session will be broadcast on Wednesday, August 10, at 8:00 am PT. Additional information about this session is available here.

The Expel booth will feature live product demos that showcase capabilities including:

How Expel’s friendly bots, Josie™ and Ruxie™, automate and speed the threat detection and response process for scale, helping Expel remediate threats in an average of 21 minutes.
Integrations with more than 80 security solutions, and the unique capability to analyze security and non-security data along with business context (e.g., critical assets, users, business process, and allowed behaviors) to give customers a greater understanding of potential risk.
Enhanced dashboards to arm customers with metrics that keep Expel accountable and show how their security investments and Expel are performing.
Improved managed phishing capabilities to help customers deal with the constant deluge of business email compromise (BEC) attacks.

Expel is kicking off Black Hat with a Cuts & Cocktails reception at The Barbershop in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 9, 6-9 pm PT. Reception attendees can register here for a fresh cut, shave, (dry) hair styling, and makeup touch-ups, and then join the team in the speakeasy behind the shop for craft cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a return performance by YouTube sensation, Harry Mack.
