What's the time commitment?

We ask EAB members to commit to a two-year term and actively participate in both in-person and virtual sessions.

Time commitment: Attend one in-person meetings per year (1.5–2 days each). Participate in virtual meetings and feedback sessions as relevant.

What does participation look like?

We’re looking for energy and insight. This isn’t a passive seat at the table—it’s an opportunity to shape the future.

Engage: Bring your experience, your perspective, and your curiosity.
Collaborate: Discuss challenges, test ideas, and co-create forward-looking approaches.

What expenses are covered?

We invest in your experience so you can focus on ideas and connections.

Invest: We’ll pick up your hotel, meals, and everything on-site. You cover air travel and make space in your calendar to be fully present.

Do you offer compensation?

This isn’t a paid gig—but it comes with plenty of perks.

Who should apply?

Membership is invite-only, but we welcome nominations and expressions of interest. Our group is intentionally small to allow for meaningful peer discussions. EAB members are:

CISOs and senior executives leading security or risk programs for enterprise organizations.
Collaborative innovators eager to influence Expel’s direction and contribute to the broader security community.
